Our Technology
Aerocycle Aquatherm applies simple biochemistry with heat transfer technology to disinfect all sources of wastewater and fluids.
The proprietary and patented technology recovers 97% energy and eliminates the need for chemicals, UV or membranes to disinfect fluids exceeding standards required for Recycled Class A+ water and potable water supplies.
How?
Applying the science of biochemistry the Aerocycle Aquatherm uses heat as a mechanism of disinfection to denature proteins by changing their shape rendering their function inactive. Since proteins form DNA, RNA and hormones, which are the major structural components of bacteria, viruses and all living things, denaturing is used to lethal affect.
The diagram below illustrates the use of heat to denature proteins (DNA)

Our heat transfer technology then extracts maximum benefit from this heat energy already available within the system by simply transferring it to another part of the process. This saves you money, recovers 97% energy and reduces the overall environmental impact of your treatment processes.
The diagram below identifies Aerocycle Aquatherm heat transfer technology at work.

Heat transfer technology involves bringing two fluids at different temperatures close to each other, so that one either heats or cools the other. This means that energy already within the system is simply transferred to another part of the process where it can be put to greatest effect. This saves you money, saves energy
and reduces the overall environmental impact of your treatment process.
